On KBS 2TV’s ‘Seung Seung Jang Gu’ aired on June 22nd, Siwon was asked “What is your three fingers trademark gesture all about?” Siwon answered “It was before Super Junior debuted, when I went to Hong Kong to film and promote for a movie. We had to pose for the reporters to take photos when we introduce ourselves. But because I was young I felt very pressured and didn’t have that much confidence, so when I raise my hands to greet them my ring finger and pinky just didn’t come up properly.”


Siwon also said “When Leeteuk hyung saw that gesture, he made a big deal out of it by saying that it looks like a chicken’s feet and named it ‘chicken feet greeting’” this draws a lot of laughter from everyone.

“After that all of the members had fun teasing me about this… especially when fans give good responses. So now when I greet, I just use three fingers” He added while laughing.

He was also asked “I heard that when you throw your clothes into the basket you like to act like you are shooting basketball… Is that true?” “That is true,” He answered, laughing.

Along with Siwon of Super Junior, Jung Yong Hwa and Taecyeon (2pm) also appeared in this episode of ‘Seung Seung Jang Gu’

Super Junior Siwon’s Father is a Business President but…

Super Junior’s Choi Siwon talks about the rumor of him being an ‘Umchina’ or an ideal son on KBS2 Win Win that aired on the 22nd.

During the episode, Siwon was asked, “It is true that your father is the president of a Japanese trade company, but is it true that you have a helicopter at your house?” by the viewers.

After receiving this question, he seemed embarrassed as he started laughing out loud and explained “It is true that my father is the president of the Japanese trade company, but we do not have a helicopter”.

Three handsome actor-idols made guest appearances on the June 22nd episode of Win Win - CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa, 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon, and Super Junior’s Choi Siwon. These three idols expressed their feelings about their recent turn into acting.

Jung Yonghwa expressed his sadness towards people’s biased perspectives of him comparing his character from the hit drama You’re Beautiful with his singing debut in CNBLUE. A lot of netizens poured out biting criticisms.

Yonghwa shared, “I was worried by the character’s image from the drama. First of all, the character that I played out in the drama has a harmless image that doesn’t call out to antis. Ever since then, I tried my best to break this biased view. However, I was sad to see the negative responses from netizens. I didn’t get scarred while I was filming for You’re Beautiful, but it hurt a bit to see me get bashed upon when I started doing something that I’ve always wanted to do, singing.”

Later he added, “I started to wonder why I had to face these criticisms as a singer. But as time progressed, all of the harsh words just made me stronger.”

Meanwhile, Taecyeon expressed his feelings about his acting debut throughCinderella’s Sister. He honestly admitted, “I am quite the timid type, so I was scared about the whole acting thing. To win against my fears, I diligently practiced,” he continued, “I was scared because whenever idol stars start acting, there is a lot of bias that comes along with it. That’s why at first I didn’t really want to act.”

He later said, “Thankfully, a lot of people were supportive. Moon Geun Young noona taught me a lot.” Taecyeon also revealed that Nichkhun helped play out Moon Geun Young’s role as Goo Eun Jo while practicing the script, “Nichkhun kinda resembles Moon Geun Young. We (2pm members) even call him Moon Geun Young.”

On the other hand, Siwon cleared up rumors about rumors of his rich background and his father owning a helicopter. He confessed, “Helicopter? My father does work for a trading company in Japan but doesn’t own a helicopter.” Siwon started to fidget and didn’t know how to respond to his ‘profile’ as a rich family’s son.

As the show went on, Siwon showed off his drumming skills, displaying his talented charm.

Choi Siwon to be Elite Agent for Athena : Goddess of War

The production of IRIS‘ spin-off series, Athena: Goddess of War, seems to be taking its shape day by day.

As many already know, the series’ star-studded casting consisted of major actors and actresses, including but not limited to Jung Woo Sung, Cha Seung Won, and Soo Ae.

Today, a report has come in and it’s official; Choi Siwon of Super Junior will be joining Athena for a role of a national elite agent named Kim Jun Ho!

This newest addition would undoubtedly attract more viewers, especially the females who was looking forward to some eye candy. Kim Jun Ho will be playing an attractive data analyzing agent at a secret organization by the name of NTS, and will also perform some hardcore action near the end of the show.

A representative revealed, “Ever since he got chosen, Choi Siwon has been regularly attending action-acting schools.” This will also be his second drama in 2010.

2PM Taecyeon, Super Junior Choi Siwon, CN Blue Jung Yonghwa will jump rope in the middle of the night.
